For more than 40 years, he has produced numerous works in all areas: ceramics, sculpture, engraving, drawing, installation, performance, etc. This book accompanies a double exhibition of Barceló's works held by the National Library of France and the Musée Picasso-Paris. At the National Library of France, the exhibition, which focused on prints, revealed a very personal body of work. At the Musée Picasso-Paris, the exhibition was designed around the theme of the artist's workshop, and it highlighted the affinities of the work of Barceló with the creative processes of Picasso.
