A fragment of Īḍāḥ al-waqf wa-al-ibtidāʼ, a work on the pauses to be observed in the reading of the Koran, by Abū Bakr Muḥammad ibn al-Qāsim ibn Bashshār al-Naḥwī al-Anbārī, A.H. 328 [A.D. 940]. See Fihrist p. 75. This copy is probably from XIIIth century 1. A fragment of a work on the principles of religion. Evidently this work is al-Muḥaṣṣal fī uṣūl al-dīn by Fakhr al-Dīn al-Rāzī, A.H. 606 [A.D. 1209/10] 1. A gloss on al-Risālah al-Shamsīyah, a work on logic by al-Qazwīnī, A.H. 675 [A.D. 1276/7] 1. Bidāyah min al-Kifāyah, by Aḥmad ibn Maḥmūd al-Ṣābūnī, an abridgment by the author of his own work on metaphysics which is entitled al-Kifāyah fī al-Hidāyah. MS incomplete at the end. Copied A.H. 845 [A.D. 1441/2] by Ẓahīr ibn Muḥibb al-Dīn ibn Khamrah 3. al-Ajwibah al-zakīyah ʻan al-alghāz al-Subkīyah, a treatise on jurisprudence by al-Suyūṭī, A.H. 911 [A.D. 1505]. It is stated in the preface that in A.H. 876 [A.D. 1472] Muḥammad ibn ʻAlī ibn Sūdūn al-Ḥanafīi encountered some questions of jurisprudence sent in A.H. 761 [A.D. 1360] by al-Subkī to Ibn Aybak al-Ṣafadī in 24 verses of poetry, but that Ibn Sūdūn did not find al-Ṣafadīʼs answer to these questions; he therefore asked al-Suyūṭī to answer them.
