"Freedom for Chol Soo Lee" has a corner chip at upper right and evenly distributed foxing throughout the field. "Day of protest to free Chol Soo Lee," calling for demonstrations on the opening day of Lee's trial, has stains around the bottom and more general wear. These posters reflect some of the activism that eventually won him a new trial and release from prison. [From dealer description]

He was convicted of the 1973 murder of SF gang leader Yip Yee Tak. While in prison, he killed another inmate in self-defense. Lee's supporters believed he had been wrongfully convicted; a pair of articles in the Sacramento Union brought public attention to the catastrophic flaws in. [From dealer description]
